Water techniques: materials, structure, banks, supply and drainage systems, small bridges, plantation techniques
Sewerage: materials, reading and interpretation of a sewerage plan in landscape design
Earthworks: terrain sections, manners of calculation
Surveying: Total Station: angle measurements, distance measurements, coordinate measurements

Prerequisites
Final objectives of the courses 'Materials and techniques to laying-out a garden or park 1' and '2' of the first year.

Final Objectives
1. The student has obtained a technical and problem solving insight.
2. The student has an attitude of technical interest in elaborating technical plans and details.
3. The student van design a pump installation for a pond.
4. The student can read and interpret a sewerage plan and can use it in his own concept.
5. The student can design terrain sections. He can calculate earthworks as a result of the sections, made for his own design.
6. The students can use a total station in an accurate manner to perform angle measurements, distance measurements and coordinate measurements and transfer these results to a CAD drawing.
7. The student must be able to execute measurements of gardens and park with a Total Station.
