Objectives
During this course the students will gain insight into the modern applications of the time-motion study and get a broad knowledge of the techniques.
Using this knowledge, the graduate should be able to bring about effective improvements in the production process of his future work situation, to raise productivity in general and to install standard times.


Topics
Introduction: history, economic benefit, use within labour organisation
Time study: substantial study of MTM2, acquaintance with V-Rex and WL, pace-rating and pace100
Line balancing: circumstantial study of workload, variations, mix and added value, calculating line speed, cycle time and workload of production lines and job shops.
Process simulations: acquaintance with dynamic process simulators: Taylor ED, Simple
Virtual process animation: acquaintance with most recent developments: Ergomas, Anysim
