Objectives
This formation part intends to familiarize the students with specific basic concepts and at the same time supply them with a general insight concerning all aspects of the logistics management. The rationalizing of the flow of goods in-and outside the company gets more and more attention in the business life.

The student can trace the logistic chain (from deliverer to client) and recognize the phases (supply, materials handling and physical distribution).

The problem of the physical distribution gets analysed here and situated in the bigger whole of Logistics Management.

The students have to be able to place the correct goods, in the correct quantity, in the correct time, in the correct place and against minimum cost.

Teaching conversation, guided and individual exercises. Furthermore time is spent on professional literature and to searching additional information that can be introduced in class.
