Doelstellingen
The course introduces the EU institutional structure. A consideration of the historical integration process will shed light on some of the institutional intricacies. The various institutions, their powers and their relations to each other and to the Member States are examined. The EU decision making process and the incorporation of EU law into national law will be discussed. The competences of the Court of Justice are discussed and illustrated by several cases.
