Objectives
The subject STATISTICS plays a supporting role.
By doing exercises students' ability to think and reason is developed and the students are taught to acquire and assimilate information.

Topics
The course consists of three parts :
1. basic concepts, collecting information, sampling techniques
2. classifying and presenting data by means of tables and graphs
3. determining statistic indicators:
  • parameters of central trends
  • dispersion parameters


Prerequisites
Elementary arithmetical operations.

Final Objectives
Professional knowledge: basic knowledge of statistics and graphs.
Professional skills: Making statistics.
