Objectives
The objective of the Excel part is to familiarize the student with spreadsheets. The student will be able to use the software in an efficient way in an economical context. The student can work independently and accurate to solve economic calculation problems using the software.
The purpose of the part on the database program Access is to familiarize the student with databases.
The student will be able to create and use a relational database using the MS Access software. The student must have a problem solving attitude and be able to work accurately. The student knows to most important possibilities of the software.

  1. The student knows how to work efficiently with Excel

    • The student can build series and range names
    • The student knows different ways of inserting formulas and knows the names of commonly used functions
    • The student knows how to lay-out cells (alignment, number formatting)

  2. The student knows how to work efficiently with Microsoft access
    • The student is able to create tables and make relations between them
    • The student knows how to import and export data

  3. The student handles tasks professionally in both Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
