Objectives
The course ‘Chemical technology’ is an essential part of the education ‘Professional Bachelor Chemistry’. Chemical technology of the first year is a basis for this course. This course will help you to achieve the essential knowledge in and experience with different processes within the chemical industry. Attention will be paid to the application and use of the different types of physical devices that are frequently used in the industry and the technology of inorganic industries. After having studied this course you will have the skills to understand and to apply the chemical processes on the shop floor.

Topics
Theory:
        Water treatment for industrial use
        Physical separation techniques
        Technology of inorganic industries
The subject matter is built up thematically

Exercise:
Hardness, alkalinity and corrections for industrial water
        Ionic exchangers: control and capacity
        Refractive index
        Flashpoint
        Density system
        Destillation
        Rectification
        Gasabsorpiton
        Reverse current extraction

Coach independent study:
        Solving problems
